HART   DANCE

 June 6    9 am – 3 pm

Keith and Jane  $75

Hart Dance is a new experience that Keith and Jane co-created. It is a combination of Integrative Breathwork and Trance Dance. You begin lying on your mat for about 45 minutes breathing deeply to meditative music that opens and aligns your upper Chakras. The music will change as you open the Chakras with your breath. When you reach the fourth Chakra you will stand up while your bedding is removed. At that point the music will carry you into movement that will dance your experience into your body for about 30 minutes. After the music has opened and aligned your Chakras the music will shift again and you will go to the art tables to capture your experience with art supplies. We will break bread together and then process the experience. All you need to remember to bring is bedding or a sleeping bag from home for the first part of the experience and your sacred scarf to cover your eyes for the whole experiential piece.

Awakening to Our Community

There are so many wonderful things happening in our community right now. Let’s stay open to the beautiful changes all around us as we spread our wings and fly.

As our community awakens to itself we are finding many new endeavors springing up all over. Mary Ellen is back on with the magazine. She is looking for advertisers to help keep it going so contact her at The Sanctuary at 901-278-0098 or go by the new location at 2172 Young Avenue or email info@midsouthsanctuary.com  It is time to get hard copy out in the area. Let’s support her as she continues to support our community with this fabulous shop where we can get the items we need for our well-being.

Memphis Light Circle is talking about putting up a web site with a community calendar so everyone can list their events. Then we will be have something going on all the time  rather than 3 events on the same weekend. How neat is that? The next gathering is at Otherlands Monday night the 1st of June. Last month, May 18th, we talked about implementing a web site and other really important matters. If you want to be part of that go to links on this web site and find Memphis Light Circle inside resources and join. It is a great thing that Dean Graves and Carol Crane set up for the community. We actually talk with each other on line.

The HART Center is establishing a directory called Memphis Healers so folks can gain access to the community practitioners when they are new in town or here on business or as tourists. The HART Center and The Mind-Body Connection is working to get this up and running as quickly as possible. I think eventually it will go on the Memphis Light Circle web site but we are going to publish it as soon as it is done and I think that will be long before the web site is up and running. Soon I am going to put out a notice for practitioners to register their information and we will begin listing folks. There will be a screening committee to make certain we get healers from our community.
