Entrance The Healing Arts Research Training Center, doing business as The HART Center, is dedicated to helping people find meaning and purpose in their lives and offers various activities for personal growth and transformation. The HART Center provides everything from counseling, energy work, massage, and drumming circles to other deeper processes to help people go inward utilizing breath, music, and art. The HART Center offers Inner Quest for treatment services to people who want to release attachment to food, nicotine, drugs, alcohol, sex, and unhealthy lifestyles. The HART Center works with other agencies to provide a continuum of care to those who need long term therapy for a variety of reasons. It is a licensed out-patient addiction treatment center that uses many complimentary methods of care. Auricular acupuncture is utilized to assist in the detoxification process in the early stages of detachment to reduce cravings for those releasing unhealthy behaviors. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is used to assist those who are healing wounds from trauma. Licensed qualified therapists work with people to change their beliefs and release emotional spiritual physical blockages that create barriers to transformation. With these approaches they may deepen their inner journey with movement, dance, and other arts to assist them in allowing expression and creativity to shift their consciousness and empower their process. The HART Center is a grand example of a balanced approach through the utilization of traditional and complimentary approaches to healing, addiction treatment, and personal transformation. The training aspect provides continuing education for other professionals in the counseling field. And, research is utilized to learn how each component works to help activate the inner healer/teacher of an individual toward emotional spiritual physical balance.
