The type of care for this population addresses multiple issues beyond recovery from substance abuse and mental health such as gaining understanding of the direct interaction of the mother’s behaviors and her fetus and/or children on an emotional-spiritual-physical level, acquiring and maintaining appropriate prenatal care, ensuring that she has the parenting skills necessary to raise her children in a healthy environment, and dealing with family and/or partner relationships, especially domestic violence. All of these issues can be detrimental to emotional-spiritual-physical balance and developing a healthy lifestyle for women and children. The Women’s Program at The HART Center will incorporate treatment that targets these issues, helping women sustain their recovery and wellness and begin to shape a lifestyle that builds upon their strengths, resilience, and responsibility for their family.
The HART Center offers an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for women eighteen (18) years old and older who have dependent children or attempting to regain custody and/or are pregnant or within three (3) months postpartum.
Healing Hearts Foundation, our 501(c)(3), will also offer an Intensive Outpatient (IOP) program for women eighteen (18) years old and older who have dependent children or attempting to regain custody and/or are pregnant or within three (3) months postpartum.
